Macedon, Amphipolis, c. 187-168/7 BC. Æ (16,2mm, 4,00g). Youthful head of the river god Strymon to right, wearing wreath of reeds. R/ ΑΜΦΙΠΟ/ΛΙΤΩΝ Dolphin swimming to right; above and below, monograms; the whole within oak wreath tied to left. Cf. AMNG II/2 25. SNG ANS -. VF toned and extremely rare.
