EGYPTIAN STEATITE SCARAB DEPICTING BEETLE AND URAEUS
Second Intermediate Period, 10th - 15th dynasty, 2040 - 1570 BC. A steatite scarab beetle seal detailing incised cypleus, prothorax and elytra. The flat reverse decorated by a central beetle flanked by two uraeus. The scarab is pierced longitudinally for suspension.
