A large sardonyx cameo with a finely carved depiction of a bust of Faustina II set in a gold pendant or brooch setting. She is portrayed in her right profile with delicate face details, and her hair is pulled back to a chignon. Annia Galeria Faustina the Younger (ca. 130 AD-175/176 AD) was a daughter of Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius and Roman Empress Faustina the Elder. She was a Roman Empress and wife to Marcus Aurelius.
