CANAANITE HOLY LANDS POTTERY JUG
Ca. 1900 BC.
A pottery jug with a strap handle, and an amphora-shaped body. Fine red bands encircle the body, and below the neck are displayed a geometrical decoration comprising of parallel lines rendered in brown pigment. Cf. Ruth Amiran, Ancient Pottery of the Holy Land.
