MEDIEVAL IRON DAGGER
Ca. 13th-14th Century AD.
Medieval dagger with upwards curved pommel and downwards curved cross guard. All fittings are made from iron, the pommel is made from a round bar and has a round groove punched into it close to each end. The blade is punched with a series of chevron lines down the length of the blade. This is a unique feature. There is some pitting on the blade but the condition is good.
