ROMAN GOLD RING WITH GOAT CARNELIAN INTAGLIO

The ring features a round hoop with expanded shoulders, and an oval bezel set with a carved intaglio with a goat oustretched against a palm tree, being suckled by a kid. Above the palm tree is a bird in mid-flight. The ring is inscribed with an inscription.
