A fine group of five distinctly shaped glass flasks used to store perfumed oil, or unguentum. The shapes in this lot include globular, piriform, and cylindrical. These glass vessels were an integral part of life in the Roman Empire, used for religious ceremonies, personal grooming, and medicinal purposes in the home.
