LARGE EGYPTIAN FAIENCE AMULET OF ISIS LACTANS WITH HORUS
Ca. 1070 - 900 BC A beautiful bright green faience amulet depicting Isis nursing Horus, her posthumous son with the god Osiris. The goddess, identified by the throne hieroglyph on her head, sits on a block seat adorned with black glaze. A folded cloth is shown covering her legs until the ankles.
