HEAVY HELLENISTIC GOLD NECKLACE
Ca. 300 - 100 BC A beautiful Hellenistic gold necklace. It is formed of four gold braided wires in a “rope” pattern, twisted in a helical manner. There are two intricate terminals at the end of these wires, decorated with spiral motifs and golden details. The two arms of the necklace are connected with an original gold clasp.
