DAUNIAN KYATHOS WITH HORNS
Ca. 600 - 500 BC A Daunian bichrome kyathos. It features geometric motifs painted in black on the cream-coloured body and a broad strap handle with a zoomorphic form. The bowl has a broad, shallow body with a narrow flared rim. the handle rises in twin sharp points that resemble the horns of an antelope. Eyes and geometric designs complete the animal motif.
