ROMAN SILVER FIGURINE OF WOLF
Ca. AD 100 - 300 A Roman silver figurine of a wolf, which was produced using the lost-wax technique. The figurine depicts the wolf in a standing position on a rectangular base. Great attention has been given to the animal's fur, created through engraved lines that cover its slim physique. Topped with a pair of rounded ears, its expressive face includes circular eyes, a prominent snout, and a slightly open mouth.
