Ca. 2600 - 2500 BC A pair of Mesopotamian stone inlaid eyes comprising a black stone round pupils surrounded by a large almond shaped iris framed in blue/black stone eyebrows.These eyes were used in temples like Tell Brak inlaid in stone, wooden or bitumen statues.
