Ca. 1200 - 800 BC A fine Western Asiatic cast copper alloy axe head with a vertical sharp blade, composed of a short, tubular socket with a thick, ribbed rim. The axe head has a bright brown patina.
Size: 60mm x 145mm; Weight: 850g
Provenance: Private UK collection; Formerly acquired on the European art market from pre-2000 collections.
