ROMAN BRICK WITH ROUND IMPRINT

Ca. Ad 100 - 300 A polygonal terracotta roof brick with a circular inscribed stamp. The brick is a pale red colour because the oven did not reach a high enough temperature in the production process. For similar see: The British Museum, number 1915,1229.19.
