SHIMON BAR-KOKHBA, 132 – 135 CE Silver Sela, 14.3 gr. Year two. Obverse: Tetrastyle façade of the Temple of Jerusalem with ark of the Covenant. Paleo-Hebrew inscription: “Jerusalem”. Reverse: Lulav and etrog (citrus fruit). Paleo-Hebrew inscription: “Year two to the freedom of Israel”. +Very Fine. Mildenberg 17; Meshorer TJC 227a; Hendin 1387.
