Caracalla (198-217). AE Sestertius, 210-213 AD. Rome mint. Obv. M AVREL ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT. Laureate head right. Rev. PROVIDENTIAE DEORVM SC. Providentia standing left, holding wand over globe and sceptre. RIC IV 511a; C. 532. AE. 26.97 g. 33.00 mm. R. Rare.Minor retouches. A very attractive example, struck on a medallic flan, from masterly engraved dies. Superb portrait and lovely deep olive green patina. Hair-line flan crack and slightly roughg surfaces, otherwise. about EF.
