Greek Italy. Central and Southern Campania, Neapolis. AR Nomos, c. 320-300 BC. Obv. Head of the nymph Parthenope right, wearing diadem and earring. Rev. Man-headed bull walking right; above, Nike flying right, placing wreath on bull's head; O-ΛΥ-M-[ΠI] below; in exergue, ΝΕΟΠΟΛΙΤΗΣ. HN Italy 571; SNG ANS 326; Graziano 80. AR. 7.24 g. 20.50 mm. RR. Rare (only three specimens listed by Graziano) and of fine style. Charming old cabinet tone. Good VF.
