Heraclius (in centre), Heraclius Constantine and the empress Martina, all standing facing, each wearing crown and chlamys. Rev. Apparently unlisted in the standard references. Choice example. Dark green patina with red earthen deposits. Interesting study coin. Good VF. Despite the Cyprus issue begins with the RY 17 and the exergue CON, the style of the coin and the depiction of the obverse (cross instead globus cruciger) suggest a different attribution. Intriguing the hypothesis of an early issue with the mint mark of Constantia (Salamina).
