R/ The Dioscuri galloping right; in rectangular frame, ROMA. Cr. 98A/3. AR. 2.15 g. 17.00 mm. Superb example. Attractive old cabinet tone over lustrous surfaces. Hair-line flan crack and minor scuff on the cheek. EF. We attribute this quinary to the L series, minted in Luceria in 214, following the new work of Debernardi (forthcoming), taking distance from the trace of Crawford (which listed this issue as LT series: 98A/3).
