Marcus Aurelius as Caesar (139-161). AR Denarius, 153-154 AD. Obv. AVRELIVS CAES-AR AVG PII FIL. Bare head right. Rev. TR POT VIII COS II SC. Minerva standing left with owl, shield & spear. RIC III (Ant. Pius) 463b. AR. 3.55 g. 17.50 mm. Superb and brilliant, virtually as struck. Lovely light tone with golden hues, amazing details. Good EF.
