Sicily. Kamarina. AE Tetras or Trionkion, c. 410-405 BC. Obv. Head of Athena left, wearing crested Corinthian helmet decorated with a wing. Rev. KAMA. Owl standing left, grasping lizard; three pellets in exergue. HGC 2 548; CNS III 30; SNG ANS 1230; Westermark & Jenkins 198. AE. 3.29 g. 15.00 mm. Superb and sharply struck. Lovely glossy greyish green patina; close to mint state. Good EF/EF.
