Greek Italy. Southern Apulia, Tarentum. AR Diobol, c. 280-228 BC. Obv. Head of Athena left, wearing crested Corinthian helmet, decorated with Skylla. Rev. Herakles, preparing to swing club he holds above in his right hand, standing left, knee on back of the Nemean Lion standing left, head right; ΠO to left, cornucopia to right. HN Italy 1065; Vlasto 1427. AR. 1.00 g. 11.50 mm. RR. Good VF.
