★ Hostilius Tubulus Semuncia ★
L. Hostilius Tubulus. AE Semuncia, 105 BC. Obv. Helmeted head of Roma right; behind, pellet. Rev. L. H. TVB ligate downwards within wreath; below, ROMA. Cr. 315/2. AE. 3.17 g. 14.5 mm. RRRR. Of the highest rarity, very few specimens known, probably the best preserved. Dark brown patina with minor greenish deposits. About EF/Good VF.
