Octavian. AR Denarius, mint moving with Octavian, 36 BC. D/ IMP CAESAR DIVI F III VIR ITER RPC. Bare head right. R/ COS ITER ET TER DESIGN. Tetrastyle temple within which veiled figure standing facing and holding lituus; on architrave, DIVO IVL; within pendiment, star. Cr. 540/2; B. 139; C. 90. AR. g. 3.90 mm. 18.00 RR. Very rare. Prettily toned, with iridescent hues. Banker's marks on obverse, otherwise about VF.
