★ Fourth Akragas Example with Eagles turned Right ★

Sicily. Akragas. AE 20.5 mm, c. 275-240 BC. Obv. Laureate head of Apollo right; K behind neck. Rev. Two eagles standing right on dead hare, one raising its head, the other tearing at hare; Λ above eagles' wings. HGC 2 -; cf. 159 (eagles left); CNS I 133; Buceti 203 (same dies).
