SILVER ISIS AND HARPOKRATES Roman period, c. 1st century BC-1st century AD. Silver amulet depicting Isis and her son Harpokrates. Wire fastening was mounted significantly later. Dimensions: 28x35 mm. Interesting and fascinating item. Amulet probably linked to the Greco-Roman mysteries, in which numerous cult figures from antiquity were revived and partly given new meaning.
