Near Very Fine. Very Rare.
The attribution of this coin is uncertain, we found a parallel with another specimen sold at auction whose note reads: The obverse type would seem to link this coin to the issues of Kition, but the Persian royal motif on the reverse is not typical of the period of the autonomous kings of Cyprus. Perhaps a satrapal issue on the mainland, reflecting Cypriot influence.
