Description
LYCAONIA. Laranda. Circa 324-323 BC. Obol (Silver, 16.09 mm, 0.73 g). Contemporary imitation (?). Baal seated left, torso facing, holding grain ear and grape bunch in extended right hand, scepter in left, T behind; all within dotted circular border. Rev. Forepart of wolf right; stylized crescent above; all within dotted circular border. For prototype, cf. Göktürk 82. cf. SNG France 443 (Cilicia). Cf. SNG Levante 223 (Cilicia). Good Very Fine.
