Italian Occupation of the Aegean, 100 Lire, 21 April 1944
S/N 5916 Block B
Pick M25; Pitidis 355
An extremely rare banknote printed towards the end of WWII to service occupied areas of the Aegean. Even fewer surviving examples that previous lot with only 8 graded by PMG and 1 by PCGS.
Excellent paper for this type, minor stain on upper right, tear on left border, minor color fade but with very pleasant eye appeal and strong details .A superb design with the purpose to portray Rome's continued strength.
Graded Very Fine 25, splits, stains PCGS Banknote
