Ο ΑΓΙΟΣ ΜΑΡΚΣ, nimbate and winged Lion of St. Mark to left, facing forward, with left paw holding book of Gospels and value “*I*” in exergue. / (ΙΩ)ΑΝ • ΚΟΡΝΗΛ Ο (ΔΟΥΞ) *, within beaded circle, around ΤΟΡΝΕΣ ΔΕΚΑΠ, in two lines, six-pointed stars above and below (Paolucci 894, [R2]; Montenegro 1449, [R2]).

Very fine or better with an attractive light brown patina and excessively rare variety.
