Sicily, Syracuse, Hemidrachm struck under Timoleon and the Third Democracy, ca. 344-317 BC. AE (g 15,01; mm 25; h 9). ΖΕΥΣ ΕΛ - ΕΥ - ΘΕΡΙΟΣ, laureate head of Zeus Eleutherion r., Rv. ΣΥΡΑΚΟ - ΣΙΩΝ, winged thunderbolt; on r., barley grain. CNS 71; SNG ANS 477-88; HGC 1440. Green patina and extremely fine.
