Obv: Cruciform invocative monogram (type V): Θεοτόκε βοήθει. Wreath border.
Rev: Inscription of four lines: Ἰωάννῃ ὑπά(τῳ) (καὶ) β(ασιλικῷ) (πρωτο)σπαθαρ(ίῳ). Wreath border.
Translation: Mother of God, help John, hypatos and imperial protospatharios.
Weight: 13.85 g.
Diameter: 26.26 mm.
