PB Byzantine seal of Theodore chartoularios (AD 6th – 7th centuries)
Obv: Bust of the Mother of God, nimbate; holding before her the medallion of the Christ child. A cross on either side. Wreath border.
Rev: Cruciform monogram. Reading: Θεοδώρου χαρτουλαρίου. Wreath border.
Translation: (Seal of) Theodore, chartoularios.
Weight: 8.84 g.
Diameter: 23.33 mm.
