PB Byzantine seal of George (AD 11th century)
Obv: Bust of St George holding a spear and shield. Inscription on either side: ὁ ἅ(γιος) Γεώργ(ιος). Border of dots.
Rev: Inscription of five lines: γραφ(ὰς) [σ]φραγίζ(ω) (καὶ) λόγου[ς] Γεωργίου. Border of dots.
Translation: I seal George's letters and documents.
