Description

Euboia, Histiaia. AR, Tetrabol. 1.74 g. - 12.93 mm. Circa 3rd-2nd centuries BC.
Obv.: Head of the nymph Histiaia to right, with her hair rolled and bound with a wreath of ivy leaves and berries, wearing a drop earring and a pearl necklace.
Rev.: IΣTI-AIEΩN. Nymph seated to right on stern of galley, holding stylis in her left hand and resting her right on the deck; on the side of the stern,decorated with wing.
