John II Comnenus, AD 1118-1143. BI, Aspron Trachy. 4.60 g. 27.19 mm. Thessalonica.
Obv: MHP - ΘV. Virgin Mary nimbate, seated facing. Holding before her the nimbate head of the infant Christ.
Rev: + Iω ΔΕCΠΟT Tω ΠOPΦVPOΓENHT. John standing facing, holding labarum and akakia.
