PB Byzantine metrical seal of John (AD 12th century, second half)
Obv.: Half-length of the Mother of God holding the Child in her left arm. Sigla on either side: Μή(τη)ρ Θ(εο)ῦ. Border of dots.
Rev.: Inscription of four lines beginning with a cross. Border of dots.
Weight: 6.84 g.
Diameter: 21.87 mm.
