Julia Domna (Wife of Septimius Severus, mother of Caracalla and Geta) Æ Sestertius (32mm, 28,8 g.). Rome, 211-217 AD. Struck under Caracalla IVLIA PIA FELIX AVG, diademed and draped bust to right. Rev. IVNO, veiled Juno standing facing, head to left, holding patera and sceptre, peacock at her feet to left; S-C across fields. RIC IV 584 (Caracalla); BMCRE 207 (Caracalla). Exceptional example with an enchanting portrait and wonderful green patina. Extremely Fine, rarely seen in this grade.
