Antoninus Pius, AD 138-161 AE As. (26,7 mm. 10,2 g.). 148-149, Rome. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XII, laureate head right. Rev. MVNIFICENTIA AVG, cuirassed elephant standing right, COS IIII SC in two lines in exergue. RIC III 862a; BMCRE 1840. About very fine. Another rarer reverse type of this emperor.
