Description
Antoninus Pius, 138-161 AD. Sestertius (32mm, 25,01g.). Rome, 152-153 AD. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XVI, laureate head to right. Rev. SALVS AVG COS IIII, Salus standing to left, holding sceptre and patera, feeding serpent coiled around altar to left; S-C across fields. RIC III 906; BMCRE 1925. Good very fine with magnificent light green 'emerald' patina.
