Ionia, Erythrai, late 6th.-mid 5th. Century BC. EL Hekte (10mm, 2,51 g.). Head of Herakles left, wearing lion's skin. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. BMC Ionia 7; SNG von Aulock 1942. Good very fine, some insignificant short edge splits from the striking, otherwise, very solid grade of the metal and unusually clear image with a late archaic portrait of Herakles.
