Moesia Inferior, Markianopolis, Gordian III 238-244 AD. AE (24 mm, 9,08 g). Legate Menophilus. AVT K M ANT ΓOPΔIANOC AVΓ, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right. Rev. VΠ MHNOΦIΛOV MAPKIANOΠO/ΛITΩ, Zeus seated left, holding sceptre and patera, eagle at feet. AMNG I, p. 301, 1087. Almost extremely fine. Rare in this grade.
