Panama Banco Central de Emision 1 Balboa 1941 Pick 22a PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45 EPQ. This 1 Balboa comes from the series commonly known as the "Arias Seven Day Issue." Issued on October 2, 1941, these notes were withdrawn one week later when President Dr. Arnulfo Arias was replaced by Dr. Ricard Adolfo de la Guardia. The majority of the notes were incinerated, leaving very few examples available to the collection community. This denomination is scarce in grades above Very Fine, and even scarcer with Exceptional Paper Quality. Highly desirable in this condition.
