Tu Duc gold 3 Tien ND (1848-1883) AU Details (Plugged) NGC, KM527, Schr-413, S&H-3.1.1.2.3 (3-1/2 Tien). An incredibly elusive ceremonial type well sought-after in all grades--the present piece appearing to have been long valued for its visual appeal, the plugging around 3 o'clock and tooling of the surfaces consistent with use in jewelry. This is only the third example we have been able to locate coming auction in recent years.
