Qing Dynasty. Bagongbao Like ("Eight-Votive-Treasures") Buddhist Presentation Sycee of 1 Tael ND, Cribb-XCI.B.1287 (though with diameter of 1286). 24mm. 36.83gm. Displaying Golden Wheel shape. The single example of this type we have been able to locate, with Cribb recording only two representatives in the British Museum Collection. A small indent appears towards the center of the wheel, which otherwise is sharp and struck from a well-polished die. This lot has not yet been assigned a grade, as it will be submitted to Gong Bo for certification before the auction.
