Description
Maria I & Pedro III gold 2 Escudos (3200 Reis) 1778 XF45 NGC, Lisbon mint, KM274. A notably scarce type consisting of only two years, this specimen shows even wear to the centers and rose-colored tone at the legends. Very much an attractive selection, with fewer than a handful of coins currently certified finer for the issue, and only a singular example to have crossed the Mint State threshold at NGC.
