MAXIMIA-NVS P F AVG, laureate, larger-sized head of Maximian right / PACATORES G-E-NTIVM, Maximian standing facing on quadriga, head left, branch in outstretched right hand, short scepter in left; soldier standing at right leading horses, TR in exergue. RIC VI 65b. Calicó 4714. Many of the known examples of this type came from the 1922 Arras Hoard, which we believe is where this particular piece comes from, though we have been unable to confirm that.
