Supposedly, the prefix "C" is commemorative, and this is the very first serial number for that prefix. This design is the first $50 for Australia, and features the portraits of Howard Walter Florey and Ian Clunies Ross. An important Australian banknote and quite desirable with the first serial number for the prefix "C".
