Three denominations from the 1949 series are offered in this lot. There is a great discrepancy in face value in this lot, as this enormous series offered notes from 1 Yuan to 50,000 Yuan. Inflation raged during this time period, and the increasing prices month to month necessitated larger value notes. A pleasing trio of higher grade notes, examples are quite desirable today.
