Maria I 5 Reis 1799-B MS62 Brown NGC, Lisbon mint, KM227, LMB-356. Reduced size. Showcasing needle-point devices and a chocolate brown patina upon lustrous fields. The single example graded by NGC and only the second we've managed to locate coming to auction in the last couple of decades, the other being the thick planchet/larger size variety. A seldom-seen issue that will likely engage Brazilian type collectors.
